PDO threads are small sutures made of polydioxanone and are similar to the sutures used in most major surgeries. They are ribbed and once placed under the skin can be used to lift up areas the are sagging. They can be used in many areas such as the Mid face (cheeks, marionette area and jowls), lower face (jawline and chin), nose (lift the tip and bridge) and brows (fox eye lift). They can also be used to fill in small static lines. Once placed they stimulate collagen production in the surrounding area and generate new tissue. They dissolve after 6 weeks and leave behind results that can last 1 to 1.5 years.
